About Julia

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, curious about learning, and earnest. I started working with kids when I was about 14. I babysat all through high school and was a summer nanny in college to two lovely kids. During the pandemic, I was a full time nanny for two toddlers through a nanny share that lasted >18 months. In my spare time, I like to run, garden, and cook! Safety, creative crafting, and fun are my strengths! I love caring for children and have a lot of experience! I was a lifeguard for 3+ years and have plenty of knowledge and practical practice with safety in and out of water. I was an after school science teacher in grad school and love to encourage leaving and creativity!
