About Julia

A nanny, I previously worked as a summer camp counselor for children ages 5-12, and I have experience teaching swim lessons to children as young as 2 years old. I'm looking to leave my barista job in Lakeview to focus on childcare, I'm definitely looking for a weekday/after school situation so this this would be a perfect fit! I have a car and live off the south port brown line stop. I have degree in musical theater and recently completed a contract as a performer for Disney Cruise Line, so my activity strengths are with art and music. My favorite part about childcare is the trusting and valuable relationships I get to form with the kids and their parents as we work together. I believe in teaching responsibility, boundaries, and safety to children, and having fun is always a top priority! Most of all, I want to work with your rules and values so we're on the same page about what's best for your little ones. Can't wait to meet you and start on this new adventure!
