I am a conscious, presence-based nanny seeking temporary to long-term employment with Boulder families. My childcare career began when I became an aunt of five children when I was a teenager; I have supported my siblings by caring for their children from when they were infants. Since then, I have had consistent nanny jobs. I have experience as a preschool assistant teacher. Additionally, I have worked as an equestrian and outdoor education camp counselor for over 10 consecutive summers, in which I taught children horsemanship, wilderness skills, and facilitated learning and self-growth in a myriad of ways. I have a decade-long daily meditation practice, and I bring that deeply cultivated mindfulness to my work. I love working with children of all ages! Crafting, exploring outdoors, games, cooking, and more. I am patient, creative and highly attentive. I always share fun, and often educational, experiences with the children I work with!

Julia was a great nanny. Our son was 7 weeks old when she started. I work from home & my husband traveled during the day/nights. I needed someone in house to help care for our son until he could go to daycare in 2 months. She was a great asset. Although I was in the house, we did not get into each other's way. Her duties included feeding our son, putting him down for naps, & changing him. She even helped out by keeping the kitchen / living room clean (dishes, picked up toys & washed his bottles). She helped me out a few times folding our son's laundry. When the weather was nice, she would go for walks with him. She worked with him on his strength, tummy time, played with him on the ground with his toys, and read him books. We were very impressed with her ability to handle a newborn. She was very gentle. She was able to leave us notes about the amount of milk he ate & naps he took. It was nice to know she was giving him 100% of her attention so we could focus on jobs. She is very kind, gentle and respectable.
