I first began to tutor at age 16, working for four years with a pre-teen struggling with math. During my first two years at the University of Virginia, I tutored two sisters aged 10 and 17 in algebra, geometry, and pre-Calculus. I also taught English as a second language to a 4-year-old boy from Korea. Upon graduation from the University of Virginia, I was employed by Spain's Ministry of Education as a teaching assistant in an elementary school. While abroad, I worked in a language academy as well as provided private ESL lessons to students of varying ages. I have worked abroad in Ecuador as well as Spain. I am a certified Spanish/English medical interpreter as well. I am willing and eager to tutor students of any age in Spanish.
