About Julia

Hi! I'm Julia - a childcare specialist with nearly 20 years of experience supporting families in New York and Georgia. I grew up on a farm in GA as part of a large family. Many of my childcare skills were first honed while caring for my siblings and cousins; After college, I began working as a professional nanny in New York. During that time, I've cared for multiples, brand new infants, hilarious toddlers, and imaginative school-aged kids. One of the things I enjoy most about nannying is helping toddlers and young school-aged kids work through their feelings, find solid ground and proceed with confidence. I'm happiest when I see that what I bring to the table gives parents some of their time and energy back, and I'm always excited to learn more about child development, family structures and bets practices in the field. When I'm not nannying, I'm making music, walking my dog and planning my wedding to my funny, supportive and hard-working fiance.
