About Julia

I had a much older father and began my relationship with caring for the elderly at a very young age. I took care of him and my grandmother until they left this earth and there was no bigger joy that I felt in hearing their stories and making their lives better. I have continued to so with many people in my life. When I was pregnant I took care of an elderly couple and one was blind and the other was over 100 years old. I would read them their old letters, organize their house, cook for them, take them on walks, take them to the doctor and host dinner parties at their house fir their families. I helped research things for their grandchildren, doctors and laughed with them for hours... and cried when we had to. There is so much to learn from our older generations and I fear the new ones don't relish in the past as they should. I would be honored to be of assistance to anyone who needs it.
