About Julia

I've recently graduated with a degree in Environmental Education and Interpretation from College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Through my education and training, I have found an immense love for interacting with young people. I have a variety of certifications including American Red Cross Babysitting, Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED, Lifeguarding, and Wilderness First Responder. I have experience supervising children ages 4-12 in both indoor and outdoor settings, and would more than willing to expand this range. I enjoy everything from science and exploration to art and creativity! I've worked in education for 5 years. This past spring, however, I took a break from the field to fulfill a lifelong dream of hiking all 2, 194. 3 miles of the Appalachian Trail. On August 18th, I finally completed that goal! Since summiting, I decided to move to Bellingham and see what opportunities are waiting for me on the west coast!
