I am a teacher at heart and by trade! I have tutored one-on-one and in group settings, taught full-time in a traditional elementary school, and home schooled my own children. Currently, I teach English/Writing courses for a university in an online format in addition to tutoring children of various ages for several families. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Reading, and hold certificates in TESOL and Google Online Educator. I especially love teaching and honing in on those teachable moments. I understand the value in finding someone to teach/tutor your student that has the educational credentials as well as the ability to engage the student. I feel I have a natural gift for teaching AND I love it!
