About Julia

I am friendly, organized, and open-minded! I like working with animals because animals are a true source of companionship and it is rewarding to care for people's furry families! I'm looking for a job that allows me to be flexible with my busy schedule as a college senior. I am also looking for a job that exercises my skills of responsibility and time management. I started working with animals when I was a kid! I would always look after several neighbors' cats and dogs when they traveled. I started by doing it with my mom and soon began organizing gigs on my own around the age of 14. I have done walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and over-night stays. One thing you should know about me is that I have experience with my own energetic and reactive dog! I learned how to handle him on walks by reading his body language and being aware of my surroundings. My skills include awareness, communication (with owners and pets), and affection.
