About Julia

Caring for children has always been a passion of mine. Growing up with two younger sisters, I've had plenty of hands-on experience. Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for children of various ages, and I truly enjoy supporting families with childcare. I hold a graduate degree in Psychology and bring over 4 years of experience. My approach is patient, calm and friendly, focusing on each child's needs and interests. I believe in following parents' preferred communication methods and their lead when it comes to enforcing household rules/education, ensuring we're always on the same page. I love engaging with kids through sports and other educational activities. I'm comfortable looking after up to two children between ages of 1-11. Portuguese is my first language, but I'm also fluent in English and have basic Spanish skills. I'm certified in First-Aid, CPR, and AED. My aim is to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and grow.
