I have been a teacher at Lawrence School, a private school for students with learning differences, for 16 years. I believe that students learn best one on one, which is why I am choosing to tutor full-time instead of being in a classroom. I am passionate about increasing students' confidence as they learn math with hands-on manipulatives, drawing the concept and then solving abstract problems at their own pace. I am certified and successfully implement multisensory math, Keys to Literacy (comprehension and vocabulary), and PEERS (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills).
