About Juanita

While I was not paid to take care of my grandparents, I did assist them with household tasks like cooking and cleaning, transportation to and from appointments and running errands, taking care of their pets, and just visiting with them. While I am not able to be a live-in for someone else, I did move in with my grandpa (passed way January 2025) after my mima (his wife) passed in October 2022. He showed a few signs of dementia and I eventually took over the household finances and bookkeeping. I also helped him with his physical therapy exercises, speech therapy exercises, and household accommodations to make it easier for him to move around his house with his walker a little more easily.
