About Juan

Hello: my name is Juan (32y-o). A Latino living the dream in Boston. I have more than eight years of experience as a senior caretaker. My range of clients go from people with mobility issues to clients with mild and advanced Alzheimer, cancer , multiple sclerosis and senile dementia. I am originally from Cartagena, Colombia. A classical-music-trained musician, I play the clarinet and used to conduct orchestras in Colombia. got my undergraduate Diploma in Music at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA. My masters degree in music from Ohio University in Athens OH and pursued two years of doctoral studies in music at West Virginia University in Morgantown WV. I am currently on my 2nd year as a master student at Tufts University working towards a degree in higher education (equity, and diversity are important to me). I Speak English and Spanish.
