About Joy

Hello! My name is Joy and I'm 24. My childcare career started with an early childhood education certificate from South Technical. Thought the last 7+ years I've gotten in home nanny and babysitter experience while also getting a lot of knowledge from working as a preschool teacher. I've worked with children ages 6weeks-12yo do things from over night care up to 72hr, special needs, medical and dietary needs, infant care to transportation and activity outings to name a few. I'm able to Safely supervise young children indoors and outdoors; maintain healthful environment through sanitation procedures and teaching children to have healthy habits; manage small groups of children during activities; use positive discipline to guide children to respect others, acquire self-help skills, and express and control emotions.
