About Joy

My name is Joy I'm 23-year-old. Im a teacher at heart but I also enjoy learning new things. I enjoy cooking and crafting. I have been a teacher and childcare staff for 6+ years and a summer camp counselor for 3 summers. I was in child development for 2 years and went to technical school where I became certified in early childhood education. I have nannied for two different families. 2022 I became a temp nanny/teacher for many different families and daycares around STL. I've worked with children age newborn-12yo. I've also spent some time with children with special needs. I'm laidback and patient but I love music and adventure. I'm able to Safely supervise young children indoors and outdoors; maintain healthful environment through sanitation procedures and teaching children to have healthy habits; manage small groups of children during activities; use positive discipline to guide children to respect others, acquire self-help skills, and express and control emotions.
