About Joy

I started babysitting when I was 12 years old and have never stopped! I graduated from UK with a BBA in Marketing. Realizing the impact high quality child care could have on my community, I opened Joy's Learning Centers in 1992. We partnered with Henry County and Eminence Independent Schools to open afterschool and summer camps on site. I helped start the first full day full year Head Start program also. I was the District Manager for Shelby County Public Schools for 6 years. I became a nanny 4 years ago and love it! Helping families in a more personalized way has been a real blessing!
