Hello! My name is Joy and I'm finishing up school at UC Santa Cruz. I plan on being an elementary school teacher after graduation, and I have five years of experience working with children! I babysat for my neighbors while in high school, and afterwards I took a gap year working in a fourth grade classroom in Philadelphia through an organization called City Year. The past two summers I've taught fifth and sixth grade reading and writing in San Francisco with Breakthrough, a program that serves under-resourced communities across the country. I've accumulated lots of experience working with kids over the years, and I'd be more than happy to help with any of your sitter needs!
