Ideally I would like to help out for a few hours a couple times a week. For the last few years I would visit with my mom every Tuesday night. We would eat supper, play games, watch TV, do small jobs she couldn't, or just go shopping. My daughter also divorced and trusted me to help raise her child. So, for these reasons I would like the opportunity to help others. Whether by babysitting while you take a break, run errands, or daycare is closed or keeping a loved one company. My mother died recently of cancer and I was her caregiver 24/7. I tried to make her comfortable, tend to her wants and needs and administered her medication. As for taking care of children, I have 8 grandchildren. The oldest is 12 and youngest is 2. I have had my 3-year-old granddaughter whenever her parents need or just because I miss her. This has been going on since her birth and is usually at least every other weekend.
