About Joyce

Child care is my first love, my passion. I love cuddling, and teaching through play. It's important for me to work with the parents, teaching their values and goals. I love to help with light chores, during nap time. When the child is awake they have my full attention. Sitting on the floor for tummy time, reading books, singing songs and encouraging the child with smiles and positive reinforcement. Talking to the child, good morning/afternoon, this is a blue ball, is a beautiful way to interact and teach. It's important to give a child time to self entertain, during bottle or meal prep. Safety, bathing, I never leave a-child alone. Diaper changes, one hand on the tummy, stepping away, take the child with me. I've learned simple words work best, walk, feet on the floor, use the no word sparingly, no touch it's hot, Throwing toys, sand, let's roll the car on the floor, let's pile up the sand.
