About Joyce Dominique

As the child of a single mother living with my two grandparents, I grew up in a culture of selfless care. It started when my aunt and uncle had my two little cousins; they became the sisters I had always wanted. In high school, I pursued an internship at Shriner's Hospitals for Children, where I discovered an intrinsic desire for caring for those who couldn't care for themselves. With experience working in both pediatrics and geriatrics, I know that the person caring for you makes all the difference. I want to be the good difference; share the fruits of my upbringing, culture, passions, and past knowledge with your family. I am first aid/CPR certified by American Red Cross. Outside of school, my part time job is as a medication technician at an assisted living facility. I recently earned the title of mentor with extra training. I go through monthly care training and quarterly medication training. I enjoy the gym, meal prepping, and taking out our dog.
