About Joyce

I worked at the Cleveland Clinic main campus for 25+ years as a medical assistant. I worked with a diversity of patients throughout my tenure. I worked in the Medical ICU for 6 years along with working in the ER, Neurology, Otolaryngology and Gastroenterology. I tremendously enjoyed meeting and working with patients. I learned a lot from them through the years of patient care. I performed vital signs, blood sugars, phlebotomy, EKG's, bathing, feeding a patient if necessary and whatever else was needed like answering phones and/or stocking supples in the unit I worked in. I worked under the direction of 3-4 RN's per shift. I also worked in home healthcare and I worked with mentally challenged individuals.
