Hello. My name is Joy and I am 35 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies. I am CPR certified. I am also a certified in home care giver. I enjoy traveling and am well traveled. I love Jesus. Hobbies of mine include: reading, writing, skating/biking, traveling, theater, baking, and the outdoors- to name a few. There is not only one kind of care gig that I would staff. I am open to different opportunities and experiences and therefore open to different kinds of care gigs. I have done Live-in nanny, substitute teacher (k-12), Preschool teacher, infant care/school cook, mentored kids in the community, Jr./ high school serving one, and taken care of my younger brother and sister. Being well traveled enhances my versatility and therefore allows me to interact well with various cultures and economic statuses. I follow directions well and only need the opportunity to prove myself. I have done seasonal work for COACH in Cabazon (seasonal' 09'). I did in store sales and worked in the warehouse processing for them. Even though sales was a new experience for me, I daily sold an average of 4-9k worth of merchandise during that season. I enjoy networking and am open to learning/experiencing new things ( musical instruments, languages, recipes, networking, etc). Last but most important to me is the fact that I was a primary caretaker for my dear mom for over 700 days. She had cancer and she fought to live. And my dad and I fought right along side with her until the week she passed. We cared for her in every way we could. This is another type of care I am familiar with and the tasks that come with it. I understand the fragility of such times in life and can give genuine comfortable care accordingly. Thank you for your time and consideration.
