I've been a professional nanny for the last 7 years, caring for kids 5mos-12yrs, and graduated in 2022 from Moody Bible Institute with a degree in elementary education. I teach second grade in Chicago. With an intuitive educator's perspective, I encourage real life, engaging activities and adventures to intentionally develop children's physical, social, and emotional health. I strongly favor healthy choices like fruits and vegetables for snack/mealtimes, although I will respect and adapt to whatever lifestyle a family chooses. I'm willing to help with basic homework and/or light housework. I have my own transportation, as well as an active, valid license, and am willing to drive your vehicle. I don't smoke--never have, never will.

Joy was AWESOME! Joy is a 2nd grade teacher and it shows she love children. My daughter loved her as soon as she walked through our home. She was very attentive with Laila. They did lots of hands on activities which was great. She helped my toddler express things she liked about herself and ways to express herself as she wrote them out. She was nice enough to keep me updated with pictures while I was out. I walked in to Laila snuggled up and sound asleep so peacefully. Joy has a great energy, with lots of love. Will hire her over and over 😊
