About Jovanah

Hello! I'm Jovanah but my students and childcare clients often call me Miss Jo! I am currently an Early Childhood Development major and student-athlete at San Jose State University. In previous years I have worked in both kindergarten and first-grade classrooms, aiding teachers through lesson plans and classroom management. In addition to this, I was employed for 3 years as a children's gymnastics instructor. I also have experience as a long term nanny for multiple families. Working with children is the light of my life. It is my honor to be a trusted individual for the nurturing of a child. This is why I have dedicated my occupational and academic life to studying the complexities of childhood and putting my knowledge to work. I am also CPR and First Aid certified through Contra Costa County. I am a devoted student, athlete, and caretaker. I am committed to every child in my care ensuring that they receive quality guidance and nurturing.
