About Joslyn

As a former preschool/kindergarten teacher, I bring a wealth of experience. I prioritize safety while making sure to provide fun and age-appropriate educational care. I have 10 years of childcare experience (including infant care). I'm a great cook, artistic, musical and outdoorsy. I enjoy encouraging children to use their imaginations to build creativity, practice problem-solving to develop critical thinking, and learn new skills that will benefit them in school and beyond. I have a certificate in child-rearing and am currently studying child development. My strengths include patience, kindness, organization and responsibility, and providing a reliable structure for children to feel safe and develop positive behaviors. I believe children need compassion, gentle guidance, consistent structure, and of course, fun!
