About Josie

I've been caring for children for over six years with years of experience being with children with disabilities, infants, and school aged children. My calm, patient, and friendly nature allows me to connect with children on their level. I believe in creating a nurturing environment and fostering a love for learning. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with parents about their child's day. I prefer to use verbal communication at pickup, but I'm happy to provide regular updates via text or phone call, whichever the parents prefer. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I am currently in nursing school and am comfortable caring for up to three children of all ages. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and my CPR and First Aid certifications are up to date.
