About Joshua

Hello my name is Josh. I'm 28 years old and I have been working with kids since I about 13 years old. I'd describe my personality as energetic, kindhearted, caring, nurturing, and open-minded when solving problems. I have cared for children of all ages from infancy to teenagers, including children with disabilities. In the summer of 2016, I became a volunteer teacher at my church in our children's ministry. This caused me to go to school and get my bachelors degree in Education in 2020 at UW Oshkosh. Since then I have been teaching and recently sometimes babysitting the new children that were born into my family. I have integrated moral lessons from church into my teaching so children learn how to gain integrity and build moral attributes to use in their lives. I like working with kids because everyday is different. I see it as a privilege and an honor to help children grow and learn new things through life. To see them succeed at the smallest things brings me joy and accomplishment.
