I have an Applied Math degree from UCSD and am currently working at a tutoring center. I am also serving in the US Army National Guard (part-time reserve component of the US Army). I like learning new things, surfing, jiujitsu, chess, and working out. I'm laidback and easy-going but intense when I have to be. I like tutoring because I like helping people come to that "aha moment." I'm looking for a job that is within 30-40 minutes of the area for any ages/grades that need help with math. If you want your kid to learn chess, jiujitsu, wrestling, MMA, or about the Army I could also help with that. I started tutoring in February 2024 In my spare time, I like to workout, surf, do jiujitsu, play chess, and hike One interesting thing you should know about me is that I had a brief stint fighting professional Mixed Martial Arts in 2014 My skills include math, explaining things in easier terms, and relating concepts to the real world
