About Jose

I'd describe my personality as humorous, intuitive, and kind I like tutoring because working with students in a smaller setting allows me to really understand how they think, making it easier to explain, teach, and explore new concepts with them. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help others with the skills I have cultivated through my career. I want to bring a love of mathematics to anyone, even those outside my classroom. I started tutoring when I was in college. While earning my mathematics degree, I tutored friends and volunteered at the high school I graduated from, tutoring SAT Math. I then went on to work for Kaplan while achieving my teaching certificate.
