About Josephine

During high school I tutored two children, a second grade girl and a fifth grade boy. I helped them with their homework as well as CRCT prep. They made great progress throughout the sessions I spent with them. I have volunteered with several after school youth centers helping children with their homework, making sure that they understood what they were doing, and assisting them with any questions that they may have. Also, I helped them to complete workbooks that helped with CRCT prep, assisted with time management, and reading comprehension skills. Most recently I am working with two boys, a 5-year-old and a 12-year-old. I assist the 12-year-old with daily homework, organizational and problem solving skills as well as projects and test prep. I work with the 5-year-old on reading and witting skills as well as proper pencil form and timed activities.
