Hello! I'm Joey, an elementary art teacher. I specialize in guiding students from kindergarten to fourth grade in their learning journeys. While my passion lies in art education, I am well-versed in math and English, have passed both Praxis tests, and provide phonics support. My teaching philosophy blends foundational skills with creativity across subjects, encouraging confidence and curiosity. I value building strong connections and fostering a positive environment where students feel safe to explore and learn. I believe in the importance of individualized support, whether in drawing, reading, or math. I'm seeking a role in a collaborative environment that values creativity, impactful work, and professional growth. Outside of teaching, I enjoy art, cooking, staying active, and spending time with my chosen family.
