I have been a caregiver for 12 years. First I took care of a 4-month-old boy for a year and then I took care of two girls for a year. Then, I worked with a family taking care of a girl since she was born until she was about 8 years old. I am currently employed taking care of a boy since he was four months and a girl since she was born. I have been with this family for 2 years and 4 months. I engage the children with healthy activities like going to the parks, attending story time in libraries, reading books everyday and singing and teaching nursery and kids songs , searching classes appropriate for their age in the nearby community centers and driving and picking up to school and driving them to after school activities when the need arise. I cook simple and healthy food for them and I do light housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of the surroundings especially the places where the children usually stay. At the end of the day, I am happy to go home achieving something good.
