About Joseph

My name is Gio. I have worked for over 10 years in home care settings as well as at Shore Memorial Hospital and Atlantic Care Hospital for 2 years. For the past 8 years, I worked with geriatric cases. One thing I'm very passionate about is upholding the highest standard of care and respect for each patient, and family. As a caregiver, you must have certain qualities such as compassion, understanding, respect and most importantly, patience. I honor each families' wishes and uphold the patient's dignity. I continue to research about the condition, follow up studies, utilize tools, etc. Families and clients need support and I verify that their needs are taken care of as well. Some people don't realize how hard it may be on the parents, not just the child. I'm currently a student pursuing a nursing degree. I am very passionate about what I do. I am always on time, and willing to come in whenever needed to cover shifts to help the families who I work for.
