Hello everyone, my name is Joseph . I am Houston TX. I have a 3-year-old son. He is the joy of my life. I previously worked for Richmond Supported Living Center for 14 years. My first position was as a DSP for 5 1/2 years. In that position, I assisted/provided care to the residents, such as bathing, dressing, and escorting residents to on/off-campus events, etc. I applied and received the Recreation Supervisor position at the facility where I stayed for years. In that role, I supervised a staff of up to 8-12 team members at a time. We oversee the campus. Wide entertainment for the residents on campus. We planned and oversaw such events as a kickball tournament, weekly dances, holiday parties, a swimming program, a basketball team, a Rodeo, parade trips, and a camp, that specialized and catered to individuals who have special needs.
