About Jose

I'd describe my personality as persistent, empathetic, and flexible. I like working with individuals with disabilities because I know they are capable of learning. Teaching my clients functional skills that will help them be as independent as possible is very important to my work. I am concerned about their wellbeing long after our time together. I'm looking for a job that includes parents that are involved in and concerned for the progress of their children. I started working with kids when I started my college education in 2019 at Fullerton college. Now that I am a double major at CSUF in psychology and child and adolescent development family and community context I aim to hone in on my skills in working with individuals with disabilities. In my spare time, I study psychology and child development. One thing you should know about me is, I will try to engage my clients in ways that test their limits and helps them grow.
