I am kindhearted, responsible and thoughtful. I care for seniors because I feel it is an honor. Seniors are the foundation of our communities. I'm looking for a job that fulfills my desire to support others in the pursuit of quality of life. I provide support to seniors and the terminally ill. I began caring for my best friend 9 years ago after being diagnosed with a progressive, incurable condition. I became his full-time caregiver and medical advocate until the end of his life. In my spare time, I read, cook, volunteer, and study. Perusing a degree in social work with a specialty in end-of-life care, my skills include communication, empathy, patience and problem solving. I am an active listener, providing clear instructions and interprets non-verbal cues. I remain calm, understanding, kindhearted and compassionate. I am observant and report changes in clients' physical or mental wellbeing. I am excellent at time management, am flexible, organized, sensitive and detail oriented.
