About Jordan

Hi I'm Jordan and I just graduated with a degree in Wildlife and Conservation Biology! I have experience with babysitting, pet sitting, and tutoring. I like tutoring because I can teach kids about the joys of learning, or at least, try my best. I also find that teaching others also helps me learn through the experience! I started tutoring when I was in college. I tutored in many STEM based classes. In my spare time, I like to go fishing, run, read, and explore the woods! I work with reptiles and amphibians so I'm also always looking for critters. One thing you should know about me is I get busier in the summer months due to my job working with seasonal species. I'll always communicate first if there's a problem with timing and it will always be a few days in advance. My skills include a hands on approach. I believe that learning outside of the classroom, as well as in, is essential to keeping kids engaged. I am also patient and creative when it comes to problems.
