Hi there! I'm Jo. I am energetic, joyful, intuitive, and very thoughtful. I look forward to meeting and working with your family! I have 6 years of experience teaching in Boulder, CO and internationally. In these roles, I worked with students aged 2 through 17, teaching Science and Theatre. Prior to teaching, I received a bachelors degree in Biology from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Then, I completed a post graduate certificate of education from University of London. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Childhood Development and Psychological Sciences at Stanford. Through my studies and teaching my care for children has expanded beyond simply being around them to a passion for learning about and fostering their social and emotional wellbeing.
