I volunteered at Autism Pensacola for two summers when I was in high school. My responsibilities included consistently engaging with the kids and making sure they were positively stimulated. I gained a lot of knowledge about how to care for people with mental disabilities. While I do not have paid experience nor am I able to assist with any medical needs regarding a disability, I love working with special needs children and enjoy helping them grow.
