About Joni

I have almost 15 years of taking care of children. We sing and play and may just sit out side playing with dirt, bugs, leaves or grass. We will sit out side and just listen to the rain or the wind. I start with them at a very young age teaching them to be aware of their body, even small babies. My babies always tend to talk early because I can see when they are ready to begin to develop their communication skills. I also help them develop their physical skills, rolling over, sitting up, standing and walking. Every child is different in their development. As they grow older we work on words and make up songs for fun. Babies always seem to love my singing and I can not carry a tune. The goal every day is to have fun and make them laugh. I am a teacher by nature and this is what makes it interesting and fun for me. I'm in touch with almost of my mothers I've worked for over the years. I have wonderful references.
