About Jonie

I often babysit my now 4-year-old and 6-year-old nephews, as well as my husband's sister's 5 children ages 6-13, I have many years of experience as an assistant/caregiver to elderly suffering from memory loss, also I have managed retail stores over the past 15 years. I come with a clean criminal and DMV record, college Bachelor degree and a desire to exceed expectations. I'd describe my personality as warm, outgoing and compassionate. I like working with kids because every day is different and its so rewarding helping them learn and explore. I'm looking for a job that I can apply my skills/expertise and help others. I started working with kids when I took some early childhood education courses as college studies. In my spare time, I like to garden and teach others to can (preserve in jars) juices, jellies, soups and other harvests. My skills include cooking, bathing/hygiene assistance and walks to the park if appropriate.
