Hello! My name is Jonelle, I am a preschool teacher looking for full-time work in private child care. I have 6 years experience in children ages 3-4, and 1 year each in toddlers (18mo-36mo) and infants (0mo-24mo). My favorite age groups are infants and 2 1/2 -3-year-olds, but I am very comfortable in all early childcare ages. I love creative play and engaging children in sensory activities. I believe the best way for children to explore is to be hands on and get messy! I also love incorporating and teaching age appropriate science activities with children. I currently care for a class of 12 toddlers, but would prefer a family of 4 or less children. I graduated from Chico State in May 2020 with a BS in Animal Science. My next step in education is to pursue a masters in zoology/wildlife conservation and follow a career path into Zoo Management. I am very comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes, so if you have pets that is not a problem. I am also fully vaccinated for COVID19.
