About Joneal

My time in childcare started after completing my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I lived with a family for a year and participated in a cultural exchange while I provided childcare for their 2-year-old twin girls. After that year ended, I accepted a job as an Instructional Coordinator where I worked with children between 3 years-21 years old who had a diagnosis of autism. Throughout this job, I worked both in the group home setting and classroom setting. My duties ranged from preparing meals, toileting, ensuring safety, as well as being on the team to create IEP goals and assess the progress of each child in my care. I was employed there for 6 years. During my employment, I also completed a Master's Degree in Forensic Psychology.
