Jonathan was a full time caregiver for my husband for 1 1/2 years until he passed away at the end of 2022. We hired him because my nusband became seriously ill with a fractured femur, congestive heart disease, bone on bone shoulder arthritis from a serious accident in 2017, and was receiving frequent blooc transfusions for advanced Myelodysplastic Anemia(a serious blood disease) My husband could feed himself, for the first few months Jonathan was here, walk to the bathroom with assistance, and shave and comb his hair. After a couple of months his bit of independence became very limited and he could no longer do much for himself including any personal maintenance. His needs increased. He could no longer walk. Jonathan cooked for my husband, got him into the shower, bathed him, helped him in and out of the car. He dressed him etc. He was so careful as my husband's skin tore easily and he was always in pain. He was so patient and kind but most of all he is very efficient, knows what to do and does it. He treated my husband with respect, and was a great companion as well. My husband was fully competent mentally and enjoyed Jonathan's companionship as well as appreciated his care. I did not have to watch or monitor the care my husband got from Jonathan. I could relax and feel confident that he was in good hands if I was not at home. 1 could come and go whenever. When I brought groceries home or had bags in my car, he always helped bring them and put them away. 'm thankful that in his last 1 1/2 years of life my nusband was treated with such kindness and respect. would not hesitate to recommend Jonathan for a caregiving job
