After a career in the insurance industry, I semi-retired at 50 and have been working with children and seniors since that time. I am kind, respectful, upbeat, relate well to children and take pride in fostering intellectual growth and healthy habits while maintaining a safe environment. I am healthy and manage a small group of apartments locally. I am mature and very thorough. I have testified in court custody hearings as a court approved caregiver. I have experience working with twin 9-year-olds (girl/boy), 2 girls (5 and 9), 12-year-old boy, a 3-year-old boy, etc. I never missed any time and was always flexible to changing schedules, sick days, etc. I enjoy doing homework with children, as well as playing any type of game or sport. During children's downtime I regularly clean - do dishes, clean counters, sweep and clean floors, vacuum, laundry, etc. I also prepare meals and provide transportation as needed.
