About John

I've spent the last eight years of my 12 years nursing career working with critically ill pediatric patients ranging in age from premature babies of 24 weeks to 21-year-olds with special needs. I love working with kids and I feel I have a real connection with them. Working with critically ill children has been hard and rewarding for me. I recently took a much-needed break from critical care and did a bit of soul searching. During that time, I realized that I want to shift my focus to working with kids outside the hospital setting. I have learned a great deal about caring for and teaching children during my time as a critical care nurse. It excites me to think about how I can use the knowledge I've acquired to enrich the life of children as a nanny. Anyone that's worked with me would likely say I am a kind hearted, gentle and caring person. I love to be outdoors, hiking, water sports, and spending time at the beach. I also love a good living room dance party.
