About John

I'd describe my personality as caring, attentive and responsible. I like caring for seniors because I treasure them as individuals and love to hear their life stories. I'm looking for a job that I can assist people in very real and tangible ways, like listening and helping with the activities of daily living. I started caring for seniors around 1986 as a nursing home Certified Nursing Assistant I also worked with seniors as a home care CNA for about nine years. In my spare time, I like to walk, bird watch, read, sketch. One thing you should know about me is that I try to value and care for people where they are and am very conscientious and responsible in my care. My skills include being an attentive listener, a good assessor of their wellbeing, willing to do and say the little things that they feel add value to their lives.
