About Johnathan

I graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Operations Research Engineering, before working in finance for five years. I recently graduated from Columbia Business School and now work as a Consultant. I've tutored more than 60 students, for 600 hours of instruction, in Dallas and New York high school and college curricula. At Cornell I was asked to consult for Cornell's Learning Strategies Center, where I taught Calculus and Statistics for 2 years. I scored in the 99th percentile on ACT Math, SAT Math and GRE Quantitative sections. I scored 5/5 on Calculus and Statistics AP exams. Students are often taught 'how' to attack problems with memorization, but rarely the 'why' behind the method of attack.
