In today's world math seems to many as a foreign language, but it doesn't need to be that way. I am a member of National Math Honor Society and have tutored many students. I specialize in Elementary/ Middle Mathematics, Algebra 1 & 2, and Pre-Calculus. Math is all about making connections to the real world and breaking it down. My approach is breaking down a problem to simplicity and including some humor to ease the frustration. I myself understand the math anxiety, because I used to find it very difficult, but after hard work, dedication, and an attitude adjustment, I have become very successful thus far and have come to enjoy math. It is my hope to instill confidence in the student and that they learn to develop an appreciation for mathematics.
