I have almost 2 years of experience working at a residential school with teens and young adults living with wide a variety of physical and cognitive disabilities. I worked with students to achieve IEP goals, improve independent living skills, gain community experience, navigate social situations, and find activities that interest them. I worked as an adaptive sports instructor this past winter and had the time of my life, while expanding my knowledge of how to help people living with a disability get involved and challenge themselves. I am hoping to connect with a family that is looking for someone with my experience. I am easy going, artistic, motivated, and responsible. I can provide references from both places of employment.
