About Johanna

Hello, my name is Johanna. I'm from Upstate New York and currently a sophomore majoring in Early Education at Morgan State University. I have extensive experience in childcare; back home, I worked at an afterschool and summer program with children of all ages. This experience taught me patience and various ways to understand and connect with them. During my time there, I assisted students with their homework, supervised field trips, and organized fun activities. One of the challenges I faced while working with different age groups was adjusting my communication style to suit each age. Younger children needed more hands-on guidance and simpler explanations, while older kids required more independence and sometimes more complex answers. I have excellent time management, listening, and communication skills. In high school, I earned my OSHA 10 certification and my First Aid/CPR certification.
